Recent Portrait I did for a lovely lady in babies group, her mother-in-law recently passed away and never got to meet her new little Bubba . She gifted this to her husband who loved it. I never got to meet my grandmother either, I’d like to think of her this way, in heaven watching over me.
If you're interested in getting a commission, you can email me your photos and communicate with me through my Facebook page. Where we can discuss some ideas and I’ll send you more details on the process. You can also head over to my www.ladysirenart.com to browse my other designs available.
God bless all those Grandparents that never got to meet their little treasures.
Elena " Mum ? Can you make me some mermaid hair? "
Mum " Sure, can we take some photos?
Elena " OK "
Well that was all that was needed to get our mermaid shoot on the way.
We headed over to Pinterest to my Mermaid Board for some Inspiration. Mind you, This was at 6:30pm & the sun was down.
I usually prefer the natural light from a window. But on this occasions I wanted to try my cheap soft box light & see what results we got.
So, did her hair, just simple big curls. Added some starfish hair clips & pearl bobby pins. Whilst watching TV & eating chicken nuggets of course. We can't work on an empty stomach.
Clipped on my White Backdrop, added my light & a wooden box. I guided her posing via my Pinterest board. Do this, try that method.
My little aspiring YouTuber of a son says, mum I'll be the behind the scenes guy. He's a darling.
Stay tuned for the Photos & we shall see what we come up with.
Things we used:
Curler / Hairspray / Ties / Starfish Hair Clip / Pear Bobby Pins
